While we like the look of the 'wire' style clip, we're changing to a flat clip that will be removable\/replaceable. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile the exterior of these pens are metal, after designing, reviewing, prototyping, and testing a range of click mechanisms, we have decided a super-slide nylon plastic based click mechanism provides great function and smoothness.
